"Taste of Intangible Cultural Heritage" Roving Exhibition

The "Taste of Intangible Cultural Heritage" exhibition with Hong Kong's food culture in the daily life as the theme is now on display at Cityplaza. The exhibition features nine items, including blown sugar technique, preserved fruit making technique, cha kwo (steamed sticky rice dumpling) making technique, Chinese dim sum making technique, Chiu Chow marinated food making technique, steamer making technique, Hong Kong-style milk tea making technique, pineapple bun making technique and egg tart making technique, that are related to Hong Kong food culture in the "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Inventory of Hong Kong".

 

The exhibition presents the unique culture of Hong Kong's ICH to the public through texts, pictures, miniature models, videos and interactive multimedia progamme, hoping that the audience will understand and pay attention to the transmission and preservation of the ICH of Hong Kong. The exhibition also has some special "check-in" spots for the public to take photos. Do you want to take pictures with giant cup of milk tea, pineapple bun and egg tart? Don’t miss it.
