This display is a Chinese Culture Festival and Shanghai Culture Week event

Jiading District, being part of the focal city, Shanghai, for this year's Chinese Culture Festival, is thrilled to share its outstanding intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items with Hong Kong citizens. This display features traditional craftsmanship and handicraft arts, including Jiading bamboo carving, Xuhang yellow grass-weaving, indigo-dyed cloth printing and dyeing techniques, guqin making technique, art of tea, Suzhou embroidery, and gold thread and gemstone inlay techniques.

Through this display, the audience will have the opportunity to closely appreciate Jiading's ICH, and immerse themselves in the distinctive cultural charm of Jiangnan culture and the Shanghai style, forging a deeper connection with the essence of Chinese culture.
