Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances+ 2025: Vibrant Dance — National Costume Exhibition

As a major event of the Asia+ Festival 2025, this year's Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances+, themed "Dancing in Immensity," features the "Vibrant Dance – National Costume Exhibition" at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The exhibition showcases traditional and dance costumes from over 20 Asian and Belt and Road countries and regions, offering visitors a cross-boundary cultural experience.

As one of Hong Kong's traditional costumes, the Hong Kong cheongsam making technique has been inscribed onto the fifth national list of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in 2021. The ICH Office displays a man's cheongsam tailored by Master Ting Chao-wen and a woman's cheongsam tailored by Master Fung Yau-choi in the exhibition. Visitors may closely appreciate the masters' exquisite techniques and immerse themselves in the oriental charm of cheongsams.

Free admission. Please refer to https://www.cpo.gov.hk/event/en-aecp-2025/ for details of the exhibition. For information of "Asia+ Festival 2025", please visit https://www.asiaplus.gov.hk/2025/en/ .
