"The Oral Legacies: Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" Exhibition Month

 

"The Oral Legacies: Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" Exhibition Month will be held in Prince Kung's Mansion Museum of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Beijing. Through illustrated text panels, multi-media programmes and exhibits of the exhibition; as well as the seminar, demonstrations and experiential activities, 20 representative Intangible Cultural Heritage items encompasses performing arts, beliefs and rituals, festive events and traditional craftsmanship, etc., will be highlighted in the exhibition month. Showcasing the richly diverse aspects of the traditional culture of Hong Kong, it is a wonderful opportunity to enhance cultural exchange between Beijing and Hong Kong and arouse the awareness and appreciation of tourists and citizens of Beijing towards the traditional culture of Hong Kong.
