Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple: Hong Kong ICH Month 2026 & Sik Sik Yuen 105th Anniversary — Echoes of Living Heritage · Legacies Through Time

As the protection organisation of a representative item of national ICH known as "Wong Tai Sin Belief and Customs", a representative item of national ICH, Sik Sik Yuen will join hands with the 105th anniversary celebrations of Sik Sik Yuen during "Hong Kong ICH Month 2026" to host a series of ICH-related activities at Wong Tai Sin Temple. Under the theme of " Echoes of Living Heritage • Legacies Through Time", the activities will take various forms – including a Dragon Boat Festival ICH Day, temple guided tours, parent-child workshops, sharing sessions/experience workshops for ICH making techniques, and temple hunt game – to lead the public in gaining a deeper understanding of the cultural essence of the Wong Tai Sin Belief and Customs, as well as other related ICH items within the temple, allowing visitors to appreciate the precious cultural values of this traditional belief and its associated ICH.
