ICH Highlight Tours — Islands District

Hong Kong is now a vibrant modern metropolis, yet its fishing-related ICH remains deeply rooted in the city. "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: ICH Highlight Tours – Islands District" will focus on Tai O, highlighting the Tai O Dragon Boat Water Parade, which was inscribed onto the third national list of ICH in 2011. It will also introduce fishing-related ICH items, offering insights into the former daily practices and distinctive culture of Hong Kong’s fishing communities.

Participation Method

  • Please duly complete and submit the online enrolment form from 10:30 am on 15 May 2026 (Friday) to 6:30 pm on 16 May 2026 (Saturday).
  • In case of oversubscription, all quotas will be allocated by open ballot. The open ballot will be held at Orientation Room 1, Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre at 2:30 pm on 20 May 2026 (Wednesday).
