Display Highlights

Before boarding, travellers visited the ICH display, reminiscing and exploring Hong Kong’s ICH.

The Xiangyunsha silk male cheongsam made by local seasoned cheongsam master Mr Fung Yau-choi, and the Thai silk mandarin vest made by his apprentice Ms Cabby Wong Pik-ying, speak to a partnership built on trust and a shared commitment to keeping the tradition alive.

Entirely embroidered by hand, this kwan kwa, a traditional wedding costume for brides, contains modern vibe and innovative idea. Mr Timmy Wong Kwok-hing of Lucky Embroidery introduced crystals sewn onto gold and silver threads, and a signature design of ten goldfish, a motif symbolising perfect completeness.

Exemplifying the neon tube making and styling technique, this neon sign features "Hong Kong’s ICH" distinctively.

These handmade flower buttons by Ms Royce Chau incorporate artistic elements of Chinese floral painting.

Demonstration Highlights

The master demonstrated and introduced "Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Making Technique", eagerly promoting Hong Kong’s ICH among the travellers. Enthusiastic travellers interacted with the master amidst the aroma of milk tea.
