Culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wushu

As the quintessence of Chinese culture, traditional Chinese medicine and Wushu (Chinese martial arts) have a long history and embody profound cultural connotations. Chinese medicine emphasises Yin and Yang, the Five Elements and the harmony between man and nature. It also covers items like bone setting, herbal tea and snake wine. In the last century, numerous Wushu schools went southward, leading to the convergence of northern and southern Wushu in Hong Kong. Wushu has gradually been integrating into the lives of ordinary people.

In the second quarter of 2023, the "Meet the Masters!" series will invite bearers, experts and scholars of related intangible cultural heritage items to talk about traditional Chinese medicine culture and Wushu.
